Meet our therapists
Our therapists know that the most important aspect of therapy is the therapeutic relationship. You need to feel comfortable working with us and confident that we can help you, and we need to believe we can.
Di is an Accredited Psychotherapist, specialising in relationship and sex therapy. When she founded Your Time To Talk, she wanted to create a therapy practice that was welcoming and inclusive, and she has.
Nicole's background was in mental health and tantric practices before she became a relationship and sex therapist.
Gordon, Khalid and Irina are experienced Psychotherapists, currently in the final year of a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy, the same training as Di and Nicole.
Charlie started out as an Integrative Counsellor before going on to train as a Relationship Psychotherapist.
As well as our training, the other thing we have in common is our passion for supporting people in self-exploration and overcoming the difficulties they face.
Di Hassall | Lead Psychotherapist
I'm a down-to-earth, empathic and insightful therapist. I qualified as an integrative psychotherapist before specialising in relationship and psychosexual (sex) therapy. I also train and supervise other relationship and psychosexual therapists, both in the UK and worldwide.
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy, as well as a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a Certificate in Attachment Theory in Clinical Practice.
I regularly participate in training to ensure my knowledge and skills remain relevant and up to date. My training over the last few years has focused on attachment theory in clinical practice, domestic abuse/violence; gender, sexual and relationship diversity; gender dysphoria and transition; digisex, BDSM and kink; working through shame; overcoming infidelity in relationships, and infant loss.
I'm an Accredited Member of the National Council of Psychotherapists, a Registered Member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and a Member of the International Society For Sexual Medicine.
Our Associate Therapists are experienced therapists who are either newly-qualified in their specialisms of relationship and/or psychosexual therapy or in their final year of training. They come from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds, and between them offer therapy in five languages!
Low cost therapy
Our Associate Therapists offer lower cost therapy, starting at £30 for individuals and £50 for couples and other intimate partner relationships.
I originally trained as an Integrative Counsellor, blending a combination of person-centred, psychodynamic and cognitive approaches to best suit my clients needs.
I soon realised that a great deal of my clients' difficulties were founded in their relationships, be it with partners, parents, siblings, friends or work colleagues, so relationship therapy was the natural progression for me. I am now studying for an Advanced Diploma in Relationship Psychotherapy.
My hope for all my clients is that they live, or learn to live in a way that is true to who they are, and that they are truly satisfied with. My aim for my therapy sessions is to foster an environment where my clients feel deeply supported, understood, and where they can boldly go on a journey of self discovery with no fear of judgment.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I’m an intuitive, nurturing and attentive therapist. I completed a two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy in 2021. My most recent training has focused on the menopause and how it can affect an individual’s or couple’s mental and sexual wellbeing.
My background is in mental health and traditional yoga and tantric practices. Both underpin my way of working integratively with clients: holding space for exploration, whilst providing logical and practical ideas to better understand and overcome difficulties.
I’ve led numerous workshops and classes on breathwork and mindfulness, exploring the power of being in the present moment, self-love and appreciation as well as managing anxiety and depression.
My background is in couples therapy, and I've now extended my practise into psychosexual therapy.
Over the years, I've worked with very diverse clients from different nationalities, ethnicities, religious and cultural backgrounds. I always keep an open and accepting mind to all differences.
I trained as an Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT) - an approach to relationship therapy that focuses on attachment needs and emotions to resolve relationships conflicts. I now train others in EFT, including facilitating the UK's leading LGBTQI+ focused EFT training.
I offer therapy in both English and Arabic.
I have a Master's Degree in Psychology from Essex University. And I’m a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), the British Emotionally Focused Therapy Centre (BEFT), and a Student Member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT).
I provide a safe space where couples and individuals dealing with relationship challenges and sexual issues can explore these. Having trained more generally in counselling and psychotherapy, I am now specialising in psychosexual and relationship therapy.
Being an integrative therapist means I draw upon a variety of therapeutic approaches, which I blend to suit the needs of each individual or couple. I speak Spanish and Portuguese, as well as English.
Over the years I have worked extensively overseas, so I am sensitive to cultural differences, and positive about diversity in relationships and sexuality. I am passionate about encouraging more men to seek therapy when facing difficulties in their relationships, which, in part, influenced my own decision to retrain as a therapist.
I'm a qualified and experienced Integrative-Relational Therapeutic Counsellor, now specialising in sex and relationship psychotherapy. I'm in the final year of a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy, the same training as Nicole and Gordon.
I'm bilingual, working both in English and Russian.
I welcome individuals and couples of all cultures, sexualities and genders.
Over the past few years, I have been working with ethnically and socially diverse clients in the NHS and in private practice, on a wide range of psychological difficulties, including relationships, identity and LGBT issues and traumas.
I'm a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a student member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT).
